The Beaver Falls Core will host an event from 5 to 8 p.m. April 29 in Library Park at 13th Street and 7th Avenue. The event will feature local vendors, including food vendors, a screening of a new documentary about the historic News Tribune building, a professional chalk art mural, an interactive art activity, and live music by 19 Distractions. 19 Distractions will perform eclectic versions of classic tunes and deep cuts. The group is comprised of local musicians Kelly Harper, Matt Dingo, Eric George and Bud Hearn.

The event is free and open to all ages. There will also be a chance to learn more about the corridor and meet the people involved in the initiative.
