Penn State Extension will offer “Home Food Preservation: Hands-On Water Bath Canning Training” from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on September 30, 2023, at the Beaver County YMCA, 2236 Third Ave., New Brighton, PA. This in-person workshop will cover the principles of water bath canning high-acid foods such as tomatoes, pickles, salsa, fruits, jams, and jellies. Participants in this training will be actively participating in the canning of product.
This course costs $25.00 and registration is required. The deadline to register is Sept. 28, 2023.
